Hi, I'm Zermina

I’m a U.S.-based local artist with a lifelong passion for creativity. Growing up in Pakistan, my childhood home was filled with handmade and hand-drawn pieces, each corner reflecting my love for art. Now based in the U.S., I continue to be influenced by the diverse people and cultures around me. I love to experiment with new techniques and push my artistic limits. Every piece I create is an expression of my journey, growth, and the unique beauty of the world I see.

As a Pakistani-American artist, my work is deeply influenced by the rich cultural heritage of my roots and my experiences navigating life between two worlds. My passion for creating visual art stems from my love for nature, architecture, and the intricate beauty found in the everyday. I find inspiration in buildings, landscapes, floral motifs, animals, and birds—subjects that evoke a sense of timelessness and connection to the natural world. Through my paintings and drawings, I aim to capture both the vibrancy and subtlety of the world around me. I work primarily with acrylic paints, charcoal, graphite, and printmaking techniques, each medium offering a unique way to explore texture, light, and form. Whether it's the texture of a building's façade, the fleeting movement of a bird in flight, or the delicate petals of a flower, my work celebrates both the simplicity and complexity of these subjects. Each piece I create is an expression of my personal journey, reflecting my multicultural identity and my desire to share the beauty I see in the world. My art invites viewers to pause, reflect, and appreciate the wonders of our surroundings, both natural and man-made.

I live in North Georgia, where green trees sway, deer wander through my yard, and birds sing all day. I walk by the creek, paint when I can, and find joy in every season—the rain, the snow, the breeze, and the scent of earth after it rains. I love to capture the beauty I see and feel all around me.

When I was in high school, I told my father that I wanted to pursue a career as an artist. His response was practical, as he suggested I take courses in areas like economics, statistics, and fine arts when I reached college. He thought it was important for me to have a well-rounded foundation. However, when I began my college journey and my passion for art truly blossomed, something changed. My father began to see my commitment, dedication, and the straight A's I was earning in my art classes. One day, he said to me, "You picked the right subject." He was proud of me, and that moment meant the world to me. The excitement I felt every time a new project was announced in college was indescribable. Each new challenge felt like a chance to dive deeper into the world I loved. The joy of creation and the process itself became a driving force in my life.

I love to paint and share my artwork. I'm always learning, experimenting, and exploring new ways to express myself. The best feeling is seeing people connect with their world through my paintings—whether it’s through landmarks, symbolism, memories, or something uniquely special to them. My art is happiness, both for me and for others, and my mission is to spread those good vibes far and wide

I am so grateful and your support is so appreciated!
